S.A.T. Test Prep. The Learning Lab SAT prep class has two purposes. First, we give students a thorough grounding in standardized test-taking strategies specific to the SAT test and on multiple-choice tests similar to the SAT. Second, we teach strategies to recognize and demonstrate the basic verbal and mathematical skills the SAT is designed to test. The Learning Lab provides materials that help parents support students to exercise effective strategies at home. Instruction, followed by guided practice, is the foundation of course sessions.
